How often should I go to the dentist?
The optimum check-up intervals depend on several individual factors – consistent, regular follow-up care is particularly important in the case of periodontitis or implants. During the initial visit, we carry out a comprehensive assessment of the findings, which we use as the basis for drawing up your personal treatment and prophylaxis plan.
Thanks to a targeted local anaesthetic, you will not feel anything during the procedure. If necessary, you can take commercially available painkillers after the treatment – we will be happy to give you individual recommendations. Your freedom from pain and your well-being are our top priority.

As a rule, yes. Most dental procedures are performed under local anesthesia so that you remain awake and responsive during the treatment. If sedation (e.g. twilight sleep) is planned in your case, you will receive detailed and individual instructions from us in good time (e.g. fasting rules, accompanying person, aftercare). We will be happy to clarify this with you personally during the planning stage.

No – thanks to modern digital impressions, the classic impression with impression material is no longer necessary. We scan your teeth precisely and comfortably with the intraoral camera. The result: fast, pleasant, without gagging or unpleasant taste – and with maximum accuracy for your dentures.
Temporarily use a soft toothbrush and fluoride toothpaste to relieve symptoms. After a thorough examination, the various solutions will be explained to you.
Bleeding gums are often the first sign of gingivitis or periodontitis and require prompt specialist clarification and treatment in order to prevent irreversible damage to the periodontium.
Replacing missing teeth is medically and functionally essential. It serves to restore complete chewing function, prevents unwanted tooth migration and tilting of neighboring teeth as well as the progressive degradation of the jawbone. In the long term, an incomplete set of teeth can lead to incorrect loading, craniomandibular dysfunction (CMD), temporomandibular joint problems, tension in the masticatory muscles and even aesthetic and phonetic impairments. We will be happy to advise you individually on the best options for you.
Neck, head and jaw pain, dizziness or tinnitus can have dental causes – grinding, misaligned teeth or craniomandibular dysfunction (CMD) are often responsible. These factors lead to chronic overloading of the masticatory muscles, the temporomandibular joint and adjacent structures. Please feel free to make an appointment – we will provide you with competent and individual advice. Taking your complaints seriously is the first step towards lasting relief.
Untreated periodontitis leads to bone loss and creates an open gateway for bacteria and inflammatory substances to enter the bloodstream – with potential effects on the heart, blood vessels and other organ systems. Early diagnosis and consistent treatment not only protect your teeth, but also your general health. You are welcome to make an appointment for clarification.
Professional teeth cleaning and regular check-ups are particularly recommended during pregnancy. Hormonal changes increase the risk of gum inflammation (pregnancy gingivitis). Early prophylaxis protects the teeth and the general health of mother and child.
Implants are highly compatible artificial tooth roots made of titanium that are surgically inserted into the jawbone. They serve as a stable foundation to replace individual teeth, several teeth or even a complete set of teeth safely and with high aesthetic quality.
White, dull stains often occur in the esthetic area of teeth and have a lower mineral content in the enamel. They can be treated using special measures that strengthen the enamel locally and improve the esthetic appearance.
Worn teeth are usually caused by night-time grinding or reflux of stomach acid. The teeth become shorter, dull and the smile looks older. However, we can restore it naturally by simulating your new smile on the computer and then trying it on directly in your mouth. Only then will we select the best material and the most suitable solution together. Please contact us for a consultation.
First of all, professional tooth cleaning is recommended to combat superficial discoloration. If necessary, teeth whitening (bleaching) can then be carried out in the practice or at home using trays to significantly lighten the teeth. Veneers or ceramic crowns can help with severe discoloration. We will be happy to advise you personally on the best solution.
